I read in an interview that the album was composed to provoke a sense of joy, and I feel that. It's startling how "fun" it feels; I think there's some magic in the arrangement and mixing, that elevates the sound design and melodies to great heights.. I can't work out how, which creates a glorious mystery on top of the great sounds. Octagonism
